When a panorama meets a gasometer, a Panometer is created and with it an incredible exhibition experience.
The Berlin artist Yadegar Asisi has been showing his incomparable 360° panoramas in the Panometer Leipzig since 2003, allowing you to immerse yourself in foreign worlds, past times or current events. Each of the 32 meter high panoramas is accompanied by a day and night light show et thematic background music.
The multimedia exhibitions on the panorama are prepared in German and English – just like the final making-of film.
New panorama from March, 16 “THE CATHEDRAL OF MONET – The liberation of painting”
From March 16, 2024, the new panoramic exhibition “THE CATHEDRAL OF MONET” will take you on a picturesque journey through time into France’s past. Discover the city of Rouen at the end of the 19th century with France’s most famous painters of its time (Monet, Van Gogh, Renoir and more) – painted entirely as oil paintings in the impressionist style. A unique art experience!
