AMAZONIA – Fascination tropical rainforest
A world to marvel at – exotic, fascinating and extremely exciting. Nature that could not be more beguiling and yet is often unknown. And so the Berlin artist Yadegar Asisi has captured this world for us in his 360° panorama AMAZONIA. Trees that grow far into the sky, long roots that seem to hang down from the air, green twilight and a thousand-voiced concert of the animals that live here. At a scale of 1:1, around 106 metres long and 27 metres high, AMAZONIEN reveals the complexity and beauty of the distant Brazilian rainforest.
Visitors can explore the strange world of the rainforest as they stroll through the panorama – supported by a light installation that simulates day and night, as well as a soundscape and music specially composed by Eric Babak.
