Tour Bremerhaven: Fat pots, container terminal and seals
Cast off in Bremerhaven
It is not only the “Oceana” liner trip from Bremen to Bremerhaven and back that gives guests interesting insights into the business locations and nature along the Lower Weser. During the stay in Bremerhaven, there is also the opportunity to take a 90-minute “sea voyage” along the container pier. Passing the “Zoo am Meer”, the “Oceana” passes the outer harbour and the Kaiserschleuse lock. At the Columbus station, the cruise terminal, one or two cruise ships awaken holiday dreams. Below the northern lock are the container terminals CT I to III with the largest container ships currently travelling the world’s oceans. Here, too, the captain provides guests with detailed information about the individual ships and the container facilities. At Wurster Arm, at buoy 45, the Oceana turns and, with a bit of luck and a favourable water level, on the return journey to the Seebäderkaje you can see the seals basking in the sun on the dry sandbanks on Langlütjensand.

Departure from Seebäderkaje: 13:00 hrs
Return approx. 14:30

Departures: May – Saturdays / June to 14.09. – Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays / 15.09. to 30.09. – Saturdays.

Please note that there is a minimum number of participants for this trip and it may therefore happen that a trip does not take place.
