WE ARE POUSHE
In the POUSHE strudel houses, Bulgarian strudel is served – according to an old family recipe, interpreted in a modern way. Homeland, solidarity, culture, art and folklore – these are the values that mum Ivanka and sisters Violetta, Vassilena and Vania associate with their POUSHE strudel. They have been familiar with the flavour since they were children – and for several generations.
POUSHE Roots
Even their great-grandparents owned a confectionery mill in Bulgaria, and so their grandparents also served sweet and savoury strudel variations almost every day. The POUSHE strudel consists mainly of these ingredients: Memories of childhood and the idyllic home in Bulgaria.
The family moved from Bulgaria to Switzerland, where the first bakery was opened. Ivanka, Violetta, Vassilena and Vania started their ‘strudel business’ in 2002. This laid the foundations for today’s POUSHE strudel cosmos.
