We show you the true size of the Port of Hamburg! Marvel with us at the diversity that presents itself every day between the Norderelbe and Süderelbe. Container ships, cargo ships, tankers, the really big ships, the secret heroes of the harbour – tugboats and cranes, quays, bridges, locks and of course the large docks of Blohm + Voss and the Landungsbrücken from the water, the Hafencity with its Elbphilharmonie concert hall and the UNESCO World Heritage Site Speicherstadt with its canals (depending on the tide) – all this is part of our harbour tour XXL.
The manoeuvrability of the small barges gives you a really good overview of the structure and efficiency of the commercial metropolis of Hamburg. Even the people of Hamburg realise time and again how amazingly quickly the image of the port changes.
Our skippers provide detailed information about the handling figures, trade relations with foreign countries, building projects, port expansion and the mechanisation and modernisation of the shipyards and ship types and pass on their knowledge to you as ‘He lücht’.
