Fräulein Kerstin – Half-day tour Moritzburg Castle

Because I always regret that some sights are unjustly neglected (usually due to lack of time), I would like to make a passionate plea at this point for the majestic Moritzburg Castle. Saxony’s most famous ruler and womaniser par excellence – Augustus the Strong – not only hunted game there, but also eagerly pursued the ladies. Around 300 years ago, the small hunting lodge of his ancestors was transformed into a magnificent baroque complex surrounded by artificial lakes.

Accompany me into the electoral chambers of the castle, whose walls are adorned with artistically designed leather wallpaper and monstrously moulded stag antlers.
