2 p.m.: Leipzig city walk from the Tourist Information Centre
Experience Leipzig – one of the most dynamic cities in Europe. There are so many reasons to come to Leipzig – be it to follow in the footsteps of world-famous musicians such as Bach, Wagner or Mendelssohn, to discover numerous cultural treasures, to marvel at architectural gems, to listen to Leipzig’s varied city history or simply to stroll around the squares, alleyways and passages of the beautifully restored old town and enjoy the Saxon cosiness.
This classic tour is the best way to get to know the famous sights of Leipzig’s Old Town in a short space of time. With our certified tour guides, you will experience Leipzig passages such as Specks Hof and Mädlerpassage with Auerbachs Keller, immerse yourself in the events of autumn ’89 at the original site of St. Nicholas Church, see the opera house, Gewandhaus and university campus, and of course the Old Town Hall, the legendary Barefoot Lane, St. Thomas Church and many other highlights of the city.
