The Mendelssohn House is the last remaining home of the composer Felix Mendelssohn-Bartoldy. Today, the late classicist building houses a modern museum that provides an insight into the world of music in Leipzig and the family life of the Mendelssohn-Barthldys. A variety of interactive activities bring music history to life. Chamber concerts are also regularly organised in the historic music salon.
